The Campaign: Tony Bianco AW12

I was so excited to see an email from the lovely Jasmin over at friend in fashion this afternoon because I knew it could only mean one thing... Tony Bianco campaign shots. As I said in my previous Behind the scenes post the campaign features the always beautiful Bambi Northwood-Blyth with Photography by Bec Parsons.Head on over to Tony Bianco to check out more of these amazing shoes. I really think those first boots need to become a part of my shoe collection!

Behind The Scenes With Tony

Tony Bianco that is. The beautiful Jasmin over at Friend in Fashion sent me an email earlier this week with some awesome behind the scene shots from the new Tony Bianco W12 campaign shoot. The beautiful Bambi Northwood-Blyth again fronts the camera for this campaign with  Bec Parsons behind the camera and styling by Trevor Stone.

Head on over to the Tony Bianco blog to read about Bambi's shoot and see some more photos. Also remember to keep an eye out for the new campaign which will be out before you know it. Big thanks to Jasmin! I like to think of her as Princess Jasmin. I think it fits pretty well. Princess Jasmin is pretty fashionable too, what with her harem  pants and crop top.

Shower and shoes.

I've been a terrible blogger lately I know. I'm sorry I've been a buzy little bee. But that's no excuse. I have a gift guide planned for tomorrow, so you can look forward to that. Until then here's a little something to tie you over.

These are from Jewelry Designer, Jennifer Fisher's  New York apartment via The Coveteur do yourself a favour and go and check out the rest of the images. She is one stylish chick, of her wardrobe she says

"I built this closet around my shower so that I could multi-task…get clean and pick out an outfit at once! I love being able to see everything. Two kids leaves me little time to think about what to wear, so this helps."

I personally cannot thing of anything more perfect than this. And being the organisation happy girl I am I love the neatness and organisation of her wardrobe. It would have to be organised in front of your shower though. Please can I have this.

I promise I'll be back tomorrow.

Prac outfits

I have prac coming up towards the end of this month. I'm so excited to actually get into the classroom and start teaching. It will be such a good experience. So another thing that I'm really excited about is new outfits for prac. And what could be better than shopping in the comfort of your own home. Que ASOS, maybe one of the greatest things in the online world. Obviously I will be dressing in clothing other than those purchased from ASOS but here is my top three outfits a la ASOS.

Pretty in Pink.

A black heartbeat.

Dress down friday.

Every single item can be purchased on ASOS.com so go on, get shopping!

I've come to terms with the fact that its probably not a good idea for me to teach kindergarten children whilst wearing high heels but for the purpose of this post lets just pretend I'm a shortie. So what do you think? Will I look like a teacher?

Windsor Smith: Simple maths = shoe lust

All through school you often question 'am I really going to use this maths in my everyday life' well yes Hollee yes you are. After getting some inspiration from Margaret over at shine by three and her latest post I thought I'd do a kind of fashion mathematics post. Ohh my university maths lecturer would be so proud if he could see me right now.

Siren -Deco Purple ($139.95)

KG Hot Strappy Platform Sandals ($223.65)

Windsor Smith - Hana Green/Purple ($139.95)

I absolutely love these Windsor Smith shoes. I don't think I can even count the number of times I have been near a shoe shop and had to stop to look at these puppies. Then have to use a tremendous amount of will power to leave the shop without two new pairs of shoes. Yeah I know right props to me!

Diavolina - Milo Orange ($179.95)
Windsor Smith - Kaos Fuchsia ($149.95)

I get the feeling that its not going to work their way into my shoe collection soon enough. It's kind of one of those things that's just inevitable, but that's okay. I just can't decide which ones I like better. And I guess the moral of this post is that yes, in fact, mathematics is useful in fashion, so you should listen to your teacher (yes I say that also because I am going to be one).

A little ray of sunshine.

The beautiful Sydney weather we have been experiencing this past few weeks (yes summer is a coming)has inspired a post about all things yellow. Not mellow yellow. Spring is in full bloom. Yellow has been making a big impact at all the recent fashion week festivities. Think bright and beautiful.

Shoes: I like to think of it as a collection, not an addiction.

One thing you'll learn about me pretty quickly is that shoes are one of my great weaknesses. Another thing you'll learn is that I am not at all challenged in the height department. So when you put these two things together it results me having what I like to call a collection (not an addiction)of shoes. Lots of shoes. I have a particular weakness for heels, but as my two best friends are... well kind of challenged in the height department I never really get the chance to wear all my heels. I think the phrase "I will not buy another pair of boots until next season" has been muttered numerous times before a shopping exposition only to return home with more boots. So my boots always start out nicely lined up against the wall next to my wardrobe but quickly end up like this (avert your eyes to the picture below).

So my grand idea to fix it was to construct a kind of floating shelve to put my boots and heels on so they were still on display, but not just thrown all over the floor. One of the worst things, for my bank account, about where I live is the fact that it's only ten minutes from ikea. So I headed there for the sole purpose of buying these floating shelves. They were $20 each and I wanted 2 at the most. So long story short, I leave ikea an hour later and $200 lacking in my bank account. But in saying this I am uber happy with the result and my shoe storage or display, yeah I like to call it more of a display.

Having an ikea so close to me means that I am now an expert flat pack put-together-er (yes for the purpose of this post that is a word). So I sat down armed with my allen key, some hommus and carrot sticks and some recent episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians and pretty much dominated the assembling of this little shelving unit.

Shoes: Fashions Night Out Sydney

On thursday night after some last minute dinner cancellations and a split second decision it was off to Vogues FNO. Well that was after a quick trip to toshiba to hand over my laptop for repairs (I know I cried a little inside when I handed it over). I was lucky enough to spend the night with my beautiful friend from uni Megan. She had a bit of a fangirl moment when she saw Hayden from Masterchef giggling and all. After that I took her for her first Zara experience, and lost her pretty quickly in there.

I'm actually pretty proud of myself as I controlled my spending and stuck to my budget, not so proud of myself because I was so excited to be there that I forgot to take many photos oops. We were also treated to free manicures in Sportsgirl which was lovely!

Shoes: Ankle boots

One of my new favourite shoes obsessions (which I have a lot of I might add) is the ankle boot. I just love love love them. I sometimes wish that I was a little bit shorter so I could wear really high heeled booties, but I'm am ever so blessed with the genes for great height. These are some of my favourite ankle boots around at the moment.
